Geordie Emerges From Stealth With $6.5M for AI Agent Security Platform

Geordie has developed a platform that gives enterprises deep visibility into AI agents and what they are doing. The post Geordie Emerges From Stealth With $6.5M for AI Agent Security Platform appeared first on SecurityWeek.

Geordie emerged from stealth mode this week with $6.5 million in funding and a platform designed to help enterprises address the security risks associated with the use of agentic AI.

Companies are increasingly using AI agents — programs that can perform tasks autonomously based on a set of goals and rules — to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

While agentic AI can bring many benefits, it can also introduce security risks. AI agents may have elevated privileges and access to critical tools and data, which can make them a tempting target for threat actors.

Geordie aims to enable organizations to securely deploy AI agents by helping them identify every agent and track what each of them is doing.

The company’s platform provides real-time visibility and alerts the customer when unexpected behavior is detected, while also understanding and tracking AI agent adoption, usage patterns, and risks.

Geordie is based in London and it was founded in early 2025 by cybersecurity and AI experts who previously held leadership roles at Darktrace and Snyk.

The company’s seed funding round was led by Ten Eleven Ventures and General Catalyst, with participation from angel investors.

“Our platform, purpose-built for agents, ensures enterprises don’t have to choose between innovation and security. By offering real-time visibility into agent activity and aligning with enterprise policies and external frameworks, we’re building trust and providing the tools necessary for safe AI adoption,” said Henry Comfort, co-founder and CEO of Geordie.
